Amanda Lawrence
Former board member
Amanda is the Director of Marketing and Development for The Next Door, a non-profit organization in Hood River, Oregon. Prior to that she served as Executive Director of the White Salmon Valley Education Foundation for 5 years. She has held Coordinator and Director positions at The Northwest Service Academy, the Mt. Adams Institute, Klickitat County Health Department, and Gorge Owned (GO!) where she created the Sense of Place lecture series about the cultural and natural history of the region. Amanda has a daughter and a son and lives in White Salmon, Washington.
Lindsay Miller
Development team chair
Lindsay was born and raised in Oregon, and brings over two decades of nonprofit experience to the Board. As a Strategy and Organizational Development Consultant, Lindsay provides nonprofits, foundations, and social enterprises with strategic and business planning, organizational development support, and multi-stakeholder collaborative design and facilitation. She partners closely with Public Equity Group, a boutique consulting firm specializing in racial equity strategy, and is a member of the LeadersTrust Flexible Leadership Awards consultant network. She holds an MBA from Oxford University, where she attended as a Skoll Scholar in Social Entrepreneurship, and a BS and BA from the University of Oregon. She is passionate about preserving wild areas and enjoys being out in nature with her husband, two daughters, and their dog as much as possible.
