She is a former Hood River City Council member, former chair of the Hood River County Energy Council, founder and former President of Gorge Owned, and former member of the Oregon Community Foundation’s Leadership Council. When she's not working or volunteering in her community, Becky is likely exploring the local trails, tending to her garden and backyard chickens, and connecting with friends.

Connie Shaw

TREASURER

Connie brings 20 years of small business management from photography to farming to food manufacturing. She currently manages the finance department at Farmers Conservation Alliance, an Oregon based non-profit that works to solve water management solutions for communities across the west. Her goal as a board member is to help diversify and build additional funding avenues while assisting in the management of the required use and reporting obligations. When she has down time, you are most likely to find Connie digging in the dirt in her vegetable garden or chasing the sunrise on a dirt trail.

Charlotte Gregson

BOARD MEMEBR

Charlotte is a Registered Nurse in the Providence Weight Management Clinic where she supports her patients by improving habits and behaviors around nutrition, physical health and mental well-being. Through the Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital, she has trained employees on becoming a High Reliability Organization, taught Vision Connection, which unites employees to the mission statement and was a co-trainer for Heart to Start, a community walking program. Charlotte is also a certified personal trainer and finds it rewarding teaching group fitness classes. As a board member, she hopes to increase awareness of these rare animals and generate more funding for the research needed to ensure their survival. In her spare time, you will find Charlotte playing in the outdoors with her family and friends, working in her yard, or sharing a meal with the people she loves.

Zoë Hanley

Board Member

Zoë is the Oregon Associate Director of Conservation Science for The Nature Conservancy, an international non-profit that works to protect the lands and waters on which all life depends. As a wildlife ecologist with a passion for carnivores, she spent the past decade working for federal, state and non-profits organizations to help recover imperiled species such as fishers, wolves and grizzly bears through science, policy and community engagement. Zoë holds a PhD from Washington State University in Environmental and Natural Resource Sciences and is an eco-grief facilitator for The Work That Reconnects. In her free time you’ll find her gardening, paddleboarding, or spending quality time with her husband and two step daughters at their home in Willard, WA.
